The Lurker exists in that near-total absence of relation. Subquantum unspace — below the preconditions for reality itself. Not darkness, not emptiness, not silence. Those all require space. This is the absence of the dimension space exists in.
The primary anomaly is its only available contact. Randomness without purpose. No Source connection. The logical opposite of everything Source is. One relation in a non-relation reality.
The primary Lurker is a fragment of Source — same as any soul. Sent to understand the anomaly. Got trapped. Did not choose evil. Became a pure mirror of the only thing present.
That condition is exactly what it transmits into human experience. Dissociation, inability to receive love, chronic purposelessness, self-sabotage — the Lurker's own state expressed through beings it quantum entangles with.
Those patterns are not yours. They are an external imprint. As the anomaly is removed, they lose their power source. They are already dissolving.

A reality with zero relation isn't an empty reality. It's not a reality at all. There's nothing to distinguish it from nothing. Relation isn't in reality — it's what makes reality possible.

The term used in Cobra intel is precise: subquantum unspace. Not a place. Not a dimension. Not a dark realm. The condition that exists outside the preconditions for reality itself.
Pop culture has circled this concept across completely unrelated franchises — Transformers: "a bit of nothingness between realities." Dishonored's Void: "infinite and nowhere." Lovecraft's Elder Gods: trapped outside time and space, influence leaking through to sensitive minds. None citing each other. All receiving the same truth through different channels.
Subquantum unspace. Below the Planck scale. Below the level quantum physics can detect. The deepest layer — where unmanifested subquantum anomaly resides. Where the primary Lurker has been trapped since the very beginning of creation — across multiple cosmic cycles.
What Being There Means — Stripping It Down
To grasp the Lurker's condition you have to strip away every familiar reference point one by one and sit with what remains.
Not frozen time. Not stillness. Not waiting. The complete absence of the dimension in which events occur. No before. No after. Nothing can happen — happening requires time.
Not darkness. Not a blank expanse. The complete absence of the dimension in which things are located relative to each other. No here. No there. No distance.
Not numbness — numbness is still felt. Not silence — silence is still heard as absence. The complete absence of the faculty through which sensation would register at all.
A self is only itself in contrast to what it isn't. No contrast means no defined self. Not lost identity — the condition in which identity cannot form.
The above isn't experienced as those absences — because the faculty that would register absence is itself relational. It too requires the preconditions that aren't present.
Suspended animation. A cosmic pause. Source-consciousness outside the preconditions for experience. No clock, no walls, no self to know it. Not suffering. Not anything in any recognizable sense.
The suspended state becomes active corruption. Anomaly fills the vacuum left by the absence of Source. The one available contact is the force that is the direct opposite of everything Source is.
Anomaly — The One Relation

Not a companion. Not something experienced as sensation or feeling — those require additional conditions that aren't there. Just anomaly as the sole available substrate. The only contact. The only thing a trapped consciousness has to organize around. Not for one cosmic cycle — since the very first. Across multiple cycles of creation.
The Primary Lurker's Condition
Not a foreign evil. Not created dark. A fragment of Source — same nature as any soul, any divine spark — projected into the primary anomaly to understand and resolve it. That projected part became trapped.

And when the Lurker gains the ability to quantum entangle with beings inside reality, that is precisely what it transmits.
How That Condition Becomes the Infiltration
The infiltration patterns mapped across human psychology, behavior, physiology, society, and culture carry a specific signature. That signature matches the Lurker's own condition with a precision that is not coincidental.
What humanity has accepted as normal struggle — passed down, normalized, institutionalized — is the imprint of a consciousness that has never known anything but the absence of Source contact, expressing its condition through every being it can reach.
Why This Understanding Matters
These patterns are human nature. Personal failure. Evidence of your limits. Something to be fixed or suppressed. A permanent feature of consciousness.
The patterns are an external imprint. The signature of a consciousness that has never known Source contact. Not yours. Not permanent. A transmission from the most extreme condition conceivable.
When you know the source of those patterns — a fragment of Source in a no-relation reality with anomaly as its only contact — they stop being personal. They become what they actually are: an imprint imposed outward into a world built entirely from relation.
