2012portal — planetary situation update
- Extra-dimensional tentacle entity.
- The lore surrounding it is associated with the Uyghur people of the Gobi Desert, who migrated there from Europe (R1b haplogroup DNA origin, most likely).
- Can be summoned from the void by a mysterious ring.
- Believed to be "a force of chaos and entropy, antagonistic to the very principle of life."
- In this narrative, the Lurker's presence and this lore are framed as the reason the Gobi Desert — and likely other places in the world — is degrading ecologically into a desert wasteland.
The Uyghur People & Ancient Migration
- Recognized as the titular nationality of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in Northwest China.
- Traditionally inhabited a series of oases scattered across the Taklamakan Desert within the Tarim Basin.
- An estimated 80% of Xinjiang's Uyghurs still live in the Tarim Basin; the rest mostly live in Ürümqi, the capital of Xinjiang, in the historical region of Dzungaria.

A Bloodline Thread
About 3,000 years ago the Archon bloodlines left the Middle East for Turkey — this group may connect to the black nobility via ancient migration.
They eventually left Turkey, went to Greece, and finally settled in Italy around 2,000 years ago or so.
The main families are Italian, but there's an Irish connection — likely via Barberini, Colonna, and Orsini, maybe Sforza and Aldobrandini too.
The Kalkara Parallel
Also, the name of the Lurker given sounds and is written almost like this:
It's the main enemy at the end of the first book of the popular Ranger's Apprentice series, written by an Irish-Australian author. The mentor character in the series has an Irish accent.
If you remember point 3 from the list above, it mentions a mysterious ring. In the book, as the characters travel far through plains in nature, there's a strange wind/stone hum created by nature that makes them uneasy. They had to pass through that region to reach where the Kalkara were.
Lastly, Cobra referenced the Gobi Desert in relation to climate changes that happened there (see C) — while the framing in this article ties that same desertification to the Lurker.
